NO. 2 MICHIGAN
11-1 OVERALL, 8-1 IN BIG TEN
The Wolverines rebounded from a 2-4 Covid-19-shortened 2020 season and are making their first Big Ten Championship appearance and playing for their first conference title since 2004. Both the Michigan offense or defense rank in the top 25 nationally in scoring and yards, finding particular success in the run game. Perhaps most importantly, though, the Wolverines take care of the ball — just nine turnovers all season (sixth fewest nationally), a trend they’ll need to continue to beat one of the most opportunistic defenses in the country.
