Deadline drawing near for Lazarus remembrances
During the holidays, it’s impossible not to reflect one’s youth and yearn for the days of old.
For many people, one of the highlights of the season was visiting the Lazarus window displays and the “tree light” atop the building Downtown.
I know I’m not alone in waxing nostalgic about the wonderful displays.
There are probably many other people who have fond remembrances as well.
If so, The Dispatch would love to hear from you.
Here’s what you can do: h Send us your favorite memories from visiting the Lazarus department story window displays. And, if you recall the year(s) you visited, please include that as well.
h If you have photos from your visit (s), please include as an attachment, along with pertinent information about what and who is in the photo.
h Please send your recollections and photos to Margaret Quamme at margaretquamme@gmail.com. Please include your name, age and city of residence.
h The deadline for submissions: Dec. 10.
h In an upcoming Arts & Leisure section, we’ll share as many of your remembrances as possible.
