Paliotto, Helen
1952 - 2021
(“Jeanne”), 69, passed away on November 30, 2021. She was born in Elwood
IN, on June 18, 1952, to the late Robert and Dorris
(Rich) Gross. She was a long-time resident of Upper
Arlington, Ohio. Jeanne was an accomplished professional, dedicating most of management in the Worthington
and Columbus City school systems. After completing her undergraduate degree at Purdue, Jeanne received her Masters in Education
from the University of Virginia, before moving on to pursue her PHD at
Syracuse University. After her graduate work, Jeanne held a variety of positions in Education from teacher to middle school principal.
Later in her career, Jeanne was the head of Human
Resources for Worthington
City Schools, and the
Executive Director of School
Turnaround for the Ohio
Department of Education.
Jeanne’s passion in life was taking care of her two boys,
Robert Logan and Marck
Paliotto. Her sons remember their mom as a loving, selfless and wonderful mother. Jeanne was always there for her sons whenever they needed her, and they loved and appreciated her endlessly. In her spare time, Jeanne was an accomplished crafter, often creating wonderful stained glass and other pieces with her friend Katie Cicero. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother Patrick Gross.
Jeanne is survived by her sons, Robert and Marck; and her siblings, Dianna
Lynn, Mike Gross and
Janice Parks. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date in 2022. Arrangements
