The stockings are hung and the presents are under the tree, but what are you going to do about dinner?

Thanksgivi­ng Day feasts tend to dominate our thoughts this time of year, but meals on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day ought to have the same festive flair.

A number of Greater Columbus restaurant­s will be open for dine-in service on Christmas Eve or Day, with both special menus as well as their normal fare.

And most, if not all, Chinese restaurant­s will be serving throughout the holidays. Call ahead to confirm hours of your favorite location, as there are too many to list here.

Other restaurant­s, as well as area grocers, are offering prepared or carryout meals, too.
