Ohio State CB Brown says he will come back in 2022

- Bill Rabinowitz

Ohio State cornerback Cameron Brown announced Thursday night on Twitter that he'll return for his senior season in 2022.

Brown's 2020 season ended early when he tore an Achilles tendon in the second game against Penn State. He recovered from that, but dealt with nagging injuries this season, missing three games.

“Injuries always set you back,” he said Thursday. “You miss out a lot of months of development. But the trainers have been going really hard trying to help me get out there and keep going.

“I've had no issue with my Achilles at all for the past year. Just other stuff. You saw me in a knee brace, but that's not now. I don't need to worry anymore.”

Brown was credited with 21 tackles this season. He had seven pass breakups and one interception.
