Marjorie A. (Carter) Young, age 70, a long-time resident of Hilliard, Ohio, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, December 18, 2021. Margie was born in Columbus Ohio on April 7, 1951 and was a graduate of Pickeringt­on High School. Margie was an active member of the Hilliard Moose Lodge 2236, Hilliard VFW and American Legion. Margie spent countless hours volunteeri­ng for the Franklin County Fair, working the livestock gate for over 30 years. Margie loved Nascar and went to many races to cheer on her favorite driver, Rusty Wallace. She loved watching golf. She was a regular spectator at the Muirfield Golf tournament. One of her favorite memories was meeting Greg Norman. Margie enjoyed gardening and had a love of beautiful flowers. She had a natural

talent to make beautiful flower arrangemen­ts.

Margie was a great cook and passed her knowledge and recipes to her family for many generation­s to enjoy. Preceded in death by her grandparen­ts Popo and Nanny Kalish, Parents, Vincent and Dorothy Johnson. Survived by her life-long friends, Larry D. Carter and Thomas (Snake) Mcbride, her loving children, Melissa Burke (Doug Steger), Teresa Hostetler-pinnick (Rob), Gregory (Amy) Carter, Hassell (Erica) Carter, Shawn (Monica) Mcbride. Grand Children, Chris, Megan, Samantha, Jeremy, Corey Hassell, Ryan, Nycole, Emily, James, Trace, Kylie, Dalton, Bryanna, Garret, Grayson. Great-grand Children, Kariya, Bellamy, Ryder, Amelia, Peyton and Cannon Hassell. Margie also leaves behind her 2 brothers, Ronald Johnson and Douglas Johnson and many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Family will receive friends from 4:00p.m.8:00p.m. WEDNESDAY at the TIDD FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 5265 Norwich Street, Hilliard, OH 43026 (614)-876-1722 and again from 10:00a.m.-11:00a.m. THURSDAY, DECEMBER 23, 2021 with her Funeral Service following the visitation and beginning at 11:00a.m. THURSDAY.
