Ohio State’s Rodriguez selected by KC in NWSL draft
Ohio State soccer player Izzy Rodriguez was selected by the Kansas City Current in the fourth round of the NWSL draft on Saturday. The defender was the 43rd pick overall.
Rodriguez played in 88 games for the Buckeyes over five seasons, making 87 starts. She had eight goals, 11 assists and was part of 29 shutouts in her career.
