Local hospital leaders have raised the alarm about the increasing rate of COVID-19 infections in Greater Columbus.

We arranged a special event with the help of the Central Ohio Hospital Council to address your questions and concerns about coronaviru­s as the Christmas holiday approaches.

The Dispatch presents Columbus Conversati­ons: “An Urgent Appeal for Help Stopping the COVID-19 Surge“will be held noon Wednesday, Dec. 20.

The free event will stream live on Dispatch.com and the newspaper’s Facebook page. It will remain available for viewing on those platforms following the event as well.

Dispatch Opinion and Engagement Editor Amelia Robinson and Max Filby, the newspaper’s health and medicine reporter, will host the event.
