Edwin “Ed” Lewis Rhodeback, 83, of Pataskala, Ohio was called upon to join the Angels on December 19, 2021 at Licking Memorial Hospital. Ed was born August 23, 1938 in Columbus, Ohio, to the late Lora Harris Rhodeback and Lawrence Rhodeback. Ed is preceded in passing by his sisters Mildred Stelzer and Charity Parkinson. Ed is survived by his loving wife, Sharon; children,

Gary Rhodeback, Kevin Rhodeback (Sandra), Michelle Spiert, Mark Rhodeback, Kelly Sanzone, Vonda Moore (Don), Dean Deboard (Barb), Dale Deboard (Cathy) Dwaine Deboard (Kathy); along with 18 grandchild­ren and 12 great grandchild­ren. He is also survived by sister, Nanette Pendergast (Pete); and many nieces and nephews family and friends to numerous to list but not forgotten. Ed was a prominent resident of Pataskala. He worked for the Pataskala Machine Shop, Western Electric, and he opened his electric business catering to the community needs. He was a Pataskala Fire Department Volunteer and enjoyed driving engine 99 in the yearly parade. Ed was a young boy and carefully took care of all his belongings. Running to bring them inside so not even a drop of rain could tarnish them. As an adult he carefully took care to help everyone with anything at anytime. Ed was well known to all the Pataskala coffee shops, where he frequented with his buddies. Most mornings they would meet like football players, to huddle and plan their next moves. Ed loved his family and friends. He had a very enthusiast­ic, generous, and gentle soul. We will forever cherish the memories we shared with him. I Love You Daddy ..... I Love You Too ......
