Hatfield, D. Lynn

D. Lynn Hatfield, age 77, a lifelong resident of Bennington Township, Licking County, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at St. Ann’s Hospital. Lynn was the 6th generation to be born and raised on the Hatfield Homestead, settled in 1831. He was born on December 28, 1943 to the late Carlos W. and Pearl D. (Welsh) Hatfield. He graduated from Johnstown High School, Class of 1961. After graduation, he worked on the family farm with his father and brother for 40 years, before founding and becoming CEO of SBC Recycling. Family and friends may call from 3-7PM on Wednesday, December 22, 2021 at Devore-snyder Funeral Home, 637 N. State Route 61 (at SR 3/36) in Sunbury. Funeral Service will be held at 11AM on Thursday.
