Mary Regina Breckler, passed away at her home on Monday, December 20, 2021. She was born on July 22, 1932 in Columbus to the late Victor M. and Anna

A. Sigrist Breckler. Mary, and her siblings, were raised in New Rome. She is survived by her sister, Irene her lifelong companion,

Eugene “Gene” Klimko; numerous nieces, nephews and their families. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings Victoria A. Maurer,

S. Joseph Breckler and

Wendelin M. Breckler. Mary was a woman before her time. She earned her B.S. degree in Mathematic­s and went on to work, and retire, as a Computer Engineer.

Sciences Corporatio­n is where she dedicated her time and expertise. Mary was the family caregiver.

Extending her care and concern to her parents and brother as they aged. She enjoyed travelling to various the United States. She stayed active by competing on a bowling league, where she was known as the “Hammer”. A Mass of

Christian Burial, will be held at 10am Monday,

December 27, 2021 at St.

Matthias Catholic Church, 1582 Ferris Road in Columbus.
