Peggie Joy Rusk, passed away peacefully on December

22, 2021. Born the sixth child to Hazel and

Kenneth Walker on March 6, 1938, she was raised with her 8 siblings in a charming four room house in the hills of Piney Flats, her adoring husband of 57 years, Dave Rusk; daughter, Ginger Carroll; and bonus daughters, Becky

Ballard, Kathy Crothers, and Barb Daniels. She has 9 grandchildren 14 great grandchildren who all knew her as their beloved Namma.

She will be missed by many family members and friends. Peggie began her professional career as the

Classified Advertising Manager at the Mount Vernon

News after graduating from

Mount Vernon High School, from there she became the Personnel Director of

Aon in Columbus, OH. She touched many peoples lives in these two jobs as she seemed to know all of secrets to success and others. In her retirement

Peggies social and organization gifts were shared with the members of Little

Turtle Country Club as she coordinated most of the member activities, charity events, and social life for 33 years. Peggies parents knew what they were doing when they gave her the middle name Joy. She truly brought joy to all who knew her. Friends are invited to share their memories of Peggie with her family during visitation on Monday from 10-11am at Moreland
