Marcella (Keney) Reibel, 87, of West Lafayette, IN, passed away peacefully on December 22, 2021, at University Place in West Lafayette, IN. She was born March 5, 1934, in Bartlett, OH, to Earl R Keney and Ethel (Pace) Keney and was one of eleven children. She was a graduate of the Bartlett High School class of 1952, excelling in academics and sports and continued her education,

receiving certificat­ions

in modeling and music programs. After completing her education, later met and married, Paul R. Reibel who preceded her in death on September 4, 2020. Marcella was known for being a hard-worker and had many natural artistic talents. She loved woodworkin­g and would work many days with her father at Kenny’s Cabinet Shop. She also was an opera and classical singer. She performed at the Opera Columbus’ performanc­e

of Madame Butterfly along

with many other production­s. She also worked as a department manager for Columbus Mutual Life. After her retirement she and her husband took up flea marketing, which they enjoyed for several years. Marcella is survived by her nephew, Phil (Kristy) Spindler; brother, Lanny (Juanita) Keney; sister, Dorothy George; sister, Wanda Spindler; sister, Shirley Walker; and sister, Peggy Keney. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by her brother Jack Keney, sister Norma Black, brother Gene Keney, sister Maxine Peszlen, and brother Dennis Keney.
