Dr. Philip (Phil) J. Pollick, age 79, passed away December 20, 2021 in Columbus, OH surrounded by his loving spouse and children. Proceeded in death by his parents Mary and John Pollick. Survived by his wife of 53 years Mary (Conti) and children Maria Pollick (Bad Soden am Taunus, Germany), Theresa (Greg) Kleinfelte­r (Waterville, OH), Philip Pollick (Asheville, NC), and Andrea (Mark) Skoglund (Dublin, OH); his grandchild­ren Kori (Dylan) Sedmak (Raymond, OH), Rose and Bella Kleinfelte­r, Brezlyn and River Pollick and Joseph and Mary Skoglund; siblings Diane (John) Pollick, Carol (Bill) Skahill and Thomas K. (Sally) Pollick. Phil earned a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineerin­g from Toledo

University, a PHD from The Ohio State University (OSU), an MBA from OSU and his J.D. from Capital University. He worked as an editor at Chemical Abstracts Service (CAS) for 21 years. In 1990, Phil became a partner in the intellectu­al property

law firm of Watkins, Dunbar and Pollick which later merged with Kremblas, Foster, Phillips and Pollick. Phil retired in 2007. He was a long-time member of Immaculate Conception parish where he loved to conduct bible study and sing in the choir. He was also a member of the Knights of Columbus. Phil enjoyed his summer home on Middle Bass Island, OH for many years growing grapes, making wine and

fishing for perch and walleye. He was also an avid reader. We will miss our long talks with our Dad/ Gramps. Family will receive guests on January 3 from 2-4 pm at JOHN QUINT TREBONI FUNERAL HOME, 1177 W 5th Ave, Columbus, OH. A Funeral mass will be held January 4 at 10:30 am at Immaculate Conception Church, 414 E N Broadway, Columbus, OH followed by the burial at Resurrecti­on Cemetery, 9571 High St, Lewis Center, OH 43035.
