Letter about moment of silence an ‘insightful’ example of inclusion

-

The Jan. 5 letter, “Since one prayer does not fit all, consider moment of silence instead” from Edward M. Krauss, is well-written and insightful.

It should make every one think about the purpose of the prayers and who the meeting board is supposed to represent.

Krauss’ letter should be required reading by all public board members where meetings include a prayer.

Many people pray but not all in the name of the same religion or any religion, for that matter. Making everyone feel included and considered should be the goal.
