Let teachers teach without looking over their shoulders

In regard to Rep. Brett Hillyer (Jan. 4 Dispatch article, “GOP wants Ohio teachers to post curriculums”): Compelling teachers to post their lesson plans online to see what they are teaching is totally unnecessary and an overreach for an already exhausted teacher.

I’m sure fear of teaching Critical Race Theory factors into the mix somewhere. The Republicans have always made their distain of public education known. No money to be made that way.

I’d like to see some transparency into Rep. Hillyer’s lobbyist and campaign donors. I’m sure a charter school business is among them .

Let teachers teach.
