Ohio high court must heed anti-gerrymandering measures

The beauty of the anti-gerrymandering measures incorporated into the Ohio Constitution in 2015 and 2018 by 70% of Ohio voters is the objective, data-driven (U.S. Census) checklist to design fair and representative districts.

Dave’s Redistricting App, a computer model that uses census and other data to eliminate all human bias, also ensures fair and representative districting. These objective measures make it hard to engineer districts for political gain.

I encourage the Ohio Supreme Court to get the foxes out of the hen house and enforce the Ohio Constitution’s antigerrymandering measures as voted in by the majority of Ohio constituents.
