Bowens, Michael

Michael David Edwin Bowens, 1991 - 2022, age 30, passed on Jan 1, 2022, due to a congenital heart defect. He was born on May 31, 1991. He has lived his entire life in Hilliard, OH. He is a 2009 graduate from Hilliard Darby and Tolles Career Ctr. With his love for history, he started Columbus State to pursue a history career, where he was on the dean’s list. Michael was an active member in his LDS church and before COVID he was involved in the priesthood and taught Sunday school. Preceded in death are his grandparents Howard and Elsie Bethel, Dixie Light, his father David Bowens and his Uncle Jeff Bowens. He is survived by his wife, Meredith; his son, Grayson and his son-like nephew, Jaxson; mother,

Lois Thompson; sisters, Kristy and Betsy Thompson; in-laws, Joe and Lisa

Satterfield; his dog, Koda;

and many other family and friends. Michael is a beloved member of his family and will be dearly missed.
