Grant Gibson Price of Aiken, SC on January 5, 2022, of Acute COVID infection exacerbati­ng long-standing heart disease at the age of 77. Grant is survived by his wife, Lynn Price (née Brake); his children, Daniel (Sarah), Nicholas (Amy), Chadd,

David (Ashley), Michael (Jessica) Joshua (Jessie) and Christa (Jeffrey), John Abrams (Waldina), Jennifer Abrams, Garrett Penix (Leslie); as well as Dan’s children, Sam, Posie, and Cecilia; Nicholas’s children, Dominic and Alex; Chadd’s children, Ben and Matthew; David’s children, Winslow, and Hamilton; Michael’s children, Espen, Gibson, and Paxten; Joshua’s children, Bailee, Jackson and Avery; Christa’s child, Mack; John’s children, Brandy, Lilybeth, John III; Jennifer’s children, Jessica Miller, and Kayley Rose Brooks; Garrett’s children, Hannah Devary, Andrew Penix, Mariah and Damyn; as well as Jessica’s children, Kayden, Phoenix, and Camdyn. Born in Bethesda, Maryland September 11, 1944, he spent most of his life in Bexley. A 1962 graduate of Bexley High School, and a 1966 graduate of Ohio University, Grant will be remembered by friends and family for his ever-present sense of humor, his love of salesmansh­ip, good conversati­on, live music, sports, Democratic politics, his family, as well as his church.
