● David Guterson: The author of “Snow Falling on Cedars” has a new novel, “The Final Case,” which he will discuss in a virtual conversation with WOSU Public Media host Christopher Purdy at 7 p.m. Jan. 18. The plot of Guterson’s new book, a literary thriller, concerns an Ethiopian-born girl whose adoptive parents, white fundamentalist Christians, are charged with her murder.
