Clippers home opener

Take us out to the ball game ... After opening on the road through Sunday with a series against the Lehigh Valley Ironpigs, the Columbus Clippers will make their first appearance of the year at Huntington Park, 330 Huntington Park Lane, with a six-game series Tuesday through April 17 against the visiting Syracuse Mets. Promotions next week include Dime-a-dog Night on Tuesday, featuring hot dogs for 10 cents, and Dollar Days on April 13, with a regular hot dog, small popcorn, 12-ounce soda, cookie from Cheryl’s or bag of chips for $1 apiece.
