Jennifer Ruth Magley Guilkey, 53, of Columbus, Ohio, passed away on March 31, 2022, after a bout with breast cancer that spread throughout her body. Jennifer was born on February 4, 1969, to Ronald Gary Magley and Beverly Ruth Magley in Columbus, Ohio. When Jennifer was five months old, her father an Elder of the LDS church, gave her his Patriarchal Blessing. Jennifer had Laparoscopy surgery due to crossed eyes when she was four years old. Jennifer’s father passed away when she was seven. Mother moved the family to Dublin, Ohio. Jennifer did well in Dublin Middle School and loved gymnastics. She hated high school and found it hard to study at home with a sister and four brothers. Mother worked outside of the home. Jennifer’s friends were sharing alcohol and she began to drink. She overdosed on aspirin and Riverside Hospital pumped her stomach. Children’s Services got involved and she was in and out of court for truancy as she had a major problem with authority and drinking. Slowly she realized the party was over. She saw some of her friends taking off for college and moving on to better things while the others were destined for alcoholism and minimum wage. She was scared to death. There was a complete turnaround. She learned to enjoy school and her attendance was almost perfect. 1987 Graduated from high school.
