HOLIDAY CLOSINGS

Memorial Day is Monday. Because of the holiday:

● Post offices will be closed, and there will be no regular mail delivery.

● Federal, state, county, city and other local-government offices will be closed.

● Columbus City Schools and other school districts will be closed.

● Ohio State University, Columbus State Community College and other institutions of higher education will be closed Monday.

● All Columbus Metropolitan Library branches will be closed Monday. ● Parking on City of Columbus streets with kiosks, app payment notice or remaining meters will be free, but parking restrictions at some locations may be enforced, including but not limited to zones marked for valets, taxis, loading, handicapped-only and residential parking permits.

● There will be no trash collection in Columbus on Monday. For residents assigned a trash color code, your collection schedule will rotate one weekday forward until the next holiday, Juneteenth, which is celebrated as a federal holiday this year on Monday, June 20. For those without a color-code designation, trash pickup during the Memorial

Day holiday week will be delayed by one day, with Friday collection on Saturday. Rumpke biweekly recycling and yard-waste collection also will be delayed by one day during the week of the holiday, with Friday's collection on Saturday.

● Central Ohio Transit Authority services will operate on a holiday, or Sunday schedule. COTA Plus will operate only in Columbus' south and northeast zones on the holiday. COTA Customer Care call center will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Memorial Day and can be reached at 614-228-1776.
