The Kentucky Bourbon Trail has grown to more than 40 stops between its Craft Tour and its Heritage Tours. Every single one of them can school you on how bourbon is made and teach you how to do a “Kentucky chew” to numb your palate. So rather than hear about Kentucky’s fine limestone water again or just how much corn needs to go into the whiskey for it to be considered bourbon, we rounded up a few of the more unique things that you can do on the trail. Some of these experiences are from big names that you see on the liquor store shelves and others come from smaller distilleries that you might not have heard of yet.
