Juneteenth: A Global Celebration for Freedom

Across all of its platforms, CNN will broadcast this first global celebration of Juneteenth since it became a federal holiday in the United States. The concert experience is billed as a historic
celebration of Black culture and excellence, brought to life and powered by Black creators. It will feature a wide array of icons and artists spanning across the entertainment and music industries, including Yolanda Adams, Billy Porter, Debbie Allen Dance Academy, Mary Mary, the Roots, Earth, Wind & Fire and more. The event will also commemorate the Hollywood Bowl’s 100th anniversary and include the Re-collective Orchestra, a 68-piece, all-black symphony orchestra, marking the first time that an all-black symphony has performed at the Bowl. Don Lemon will host a live preshow that highlights Black advocates and trailblazers.
