Learning in an armed fortress

-

To the extent that the reader can put aside his or her feelings regarding guns or the Second Amendment, ask yourself one question:

Do I want the sort of society where children have to learn in an armed fortress?

Let your answer to the question guide you to choose leaders who support your answer to that question.

California teachers to flood Ohio

I wish to congratulate Gov. Dewine for signing legislation to make it easier for school employees in Ohio to carry firearms on school campuses.

My daughter is a school teacher here in California, and she agrees that the more weapons that are available, the safer she will feel coming to work.

In fact, she predicts a flood of teachers will move from California and other states to Ohio, in order to take advantage of this progressive concept.

We all know that the introduction of additional firearms into any situation, be it a school, a church, or place of business, virtually guarantees the safety of all those present.

Thank you, Governor.
