Went home to be with the Lord, suddenly, Thursday July 14th, 2022 at Doctors West Hospital. 1969 graduate of Marion Franklin. Former employee of FBI and COTA, currently employed by Harris Dental Labs. Mike was a mason of Potters Lodge 540, F.&A.M. of Ohio. He was an avid hunter and outdoorsman who enjoyed time at his cabin in Morgan County & also a true OSU fan! Preceded in death by father Louis Snelling, mother Maggie (Harber) Snelling, Sister Sandra Wroten, father-in-law Clyde W. Thompson, mother-in-law Ada (Prince) Thompson, brothers-in-law Clyde William Thompson Jr. and Rick Henderson, sister-in-law Patty Schofield. Survived by beloved wife of 37 years, Elizabeth (Thompson) Snelling; son, Michael D. Snelling, brothers Leroy Schofield, Steve (Jeanie)snelling.
