DUBLIN - Ann Lee (nee Pearce) Hall passed away January 29, 2023. Born May 9th, 1937 in Akron Ohio and growing up in Goodyear Heights, Lee was a proud East High Oriental before attending Kent State University and taking her first job teaching in Cuyahoga Falls. A lifelong educator and tireless advocate for students of all ages and the teachers who taught them. She had a 38 year career with Columbus Public Schools teaching at all levels, overseeing multiple programs, and had a distinct passion for working with at-risk students. Member of the Church of Christ, proud Alpha Phi sister, ardent Cleveland Indians and Cincinnati Bengals fan and seldom missed an Ohio State football game. She was a consummate hostess and passionate sun worshipper who was happiest in her old farmhouse entertaini­ng family and friends or in the Florida Keys with sand between her toes. Preceded in death by her husband John H. Hall, and she leaves to cherish her memory, daughters Rebecca (James) Gordon and Mary (Kyle) Heffner, Niece Stacy (Brian) Burrier, Nephew Jeff (Michele) Devore, Cousins Lori (Michael) Murray and Nancy (Jeff) Hoinski, her childhood best friend, Alice Hurd along with an abundance of family, friends and profession­al colleagues; but mostly countless students whose lives she impacted in so many ways. A memorial service will be held Monday, February 6, 2023 with visitation beginning at 5pm followed by the memorial service at 6pm, Schoedinge­r Funeral Home, 5980 Perimeter Drive, Dublin, Ohio 43017.
