Eileen J. Perdew (Beirau), age 87, of Grove City, left this world peacefully at home on March 3, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. Eileen was born July 9, 1935, to Joseph and Vivian Beirau in German Village where she spent her childhood and attended St Mary’s School and South High School. Eileen is preceded in death by her loving and devoted husband, Ralph Perdew (6-26-14). She is survived by her 7 children, Mike Humes (Rachel), Vickie Williams, Bob Perdew, Teresa Perdew, Rhonda Weaver (Jerry Roe), Ralph Perdew, Jr (Sandy) and Renee Taylor (Bill), 12 grandchild­ren and 30 great and great-great grandchild­ren, sister, Beverly Cote, brother Joseph Beirau and numerous nieces and nephews. Eileen lived in Grove City for most of her life where she was actively involved with the Nazarene church, and many will remember her as the Deputy Registrar in the early 70’s. She always looked for ways to help and uplift people; working for the Salvation Army and Columbus West Park Nursing Home and most recently, while living at Story Point in Grove City serving as an ambassador. She will leave a void in the many lives of those who were blessed to know her. Because Eileen believed everyone should have access to food and shelter, donations may be made to your local homeless shelter or food bank in her memory. Friends may visit Monday from 10:00 AM until time the time of her celebratio­n of life service at 12:00 PM at THE SPENCE-MILLER FUNERAL HOME 2697 Columbus St. Grove City, Ohio.
