Paul D. Phipps

REYNOLDSBURG - Paul D. Phipps, age 76 of 2040 Lynbridge Drive, Reynoldsburg, Ohio died at 12:06 A.M., Saturday, March 4, 2023 at home. He was born on October 17, 1946 in Beaver, Ohio to Ronald and Decie Phipps. He first married Gloria (Kiser) Phipps Chapin and they later divorced. He then married Kathy (Weininger) Phipps on December 22,1984 and she survives.

Surviving are the following sons, Eric Bryan Phipps, Westerville, Ohio, Nathan Andrew Phipps, Galloway, Ohio and Kevin Ashford Phipps, North Royalton, Ohio. Also surviving are two grandchildren, Brandon Paul Phipps and Lauren Rachel Phipps plus one brother, Richard (Carol) Phipps, Jasper, Georgia. He was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.

Paul was a Buyer for Shoe Corporation of America. He was a 1964 graduate of Jackson High School and he attended Bliss College and Franklin University.

For hobbies he collected antique bottles, arrowheads, loved to cook and loved his cats. He also was an avid Ohio State Buckeye Fan.

A memorial service for Paul will be held on Sunday, March 12, 2023 at 4:00 P.M. at the Walton-moore Funeral Home, Sycamore, Ohio with the Rev. Darrin Harvey officiating. Burial will take place at a later date at Pleasant Ridge Cemetery, Sycamore, Ohio. Visitation will be held on Sunday, March 12, 2023 from 2:00-4:00 P.M. prior to the memorial service.
