After retiring as an architectural engineer for the State of Ohio, Russ later moved to The Villages, Florida with his wife for several years before returning to Columbus.

Russ was an avid golfer and bowler. He loved to travel, driving with his wife across country, and of course he was the BIGGEST Buckeye fan in the world. He had a servant’s heart, was a loyal friend, husband, attentive son, brother, father and loving grandpa. He was a Christ centered man, loved his faith and never took his Catholicism for granted; a true Catholic gentleman. He will be terribly missed.
