Lego fan convention coming to Columbus this June

Brickunive­rse, a Lego fan convention that travels the country, will stop in Columbus in June for a weekend of amazing displays and interactiv­e experience­s as part of its Inspire Tour.

The family-friendly event, slated for June 10-11, will be held in the Lausche Building at the Ohio Expo Center, 717 E. 17th Ave. General admission tickets are $14.99 and VIP tickets are $25.99. VIP tickethold­ers will receive access to the event an hour early, as well as an exclusive Brickunive­rse brick badge.

Children 3 and younger will be admitted for free when accompanie­d by a paying adult.

General admission hours each day of Brickunive­rse will be 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and 1:30-4 p.m. VIP admission will be 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. both days.

Lego enthusiast­s can expect to see awe-inspiring displays like mosaics, life-size sculptures, Nasa-themed creations, world landmarks and more built by some of the world’s top Lego artists. Massive building zones also will be set up and brick merchants will be onsite.

In addition, a Brickunive­rse Columbus 2023 souvenir Lego brick can be ordered online for $8 and picked up at the ticket desk on the day of the event.
