Genevieve C. (Thompson) Worthington

GROVE CITY - Genevieve Caroline (Thompson) Worthington, our beloved matriarch, passed away peacefully on March 18, 2023, at the age of 86, surrounded by her family. Genevieve was born in Columbus on February 8, 1937. In 1955, she married the love of her life, Richard, and together they raised their four children in Grove City/pleasant Corners. Genevieve was preceded in death by her parents, James and Emogene; her brother Skip; her husband Richard;, and her grandson Joshua. She is survived by her children, Sherry Worthington, Rick (Honor) Worthington, Jeanelle (Jeff) Harden and Tom (Stacy) Worthington; brother-in-law, Jim (Carlene) Worthington; as well as her many beloved grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Genevieve was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who cherished spending time with her family and creating treasured memories with them. She also had a green thumb and a passion for cultivating beautiful flowers, spending countless hours tending to them. Genevieve’s legacy of love and devotion to family will live on through her children and grandchildren. She will be deeply missed and forever loved. Rest in peace, Genevieve Caroline (Thompson) Worthington. Genevieve’s family will receive friends 2-5 PM Sunday, March 26 at Schoedinger Grove City 4242 Hoover Rd (HOOVER RD at KINGSTON AVE). A Graveside Service will be held 10 AM Monday, March 27 at Concord Cemetery 6244 Hoover Rd, Grove City OH 43123.
