COLUMBUS - Marjorie Sue Sheeran Hennessey passed peacefully into eternal life on Thursday, July 13, 2023, at Riverside Methodist Hospital after a brief illness. A devoted wife and mother, Marjorie was born on August 30, 1922 in New Lexington Ohio, the daughter of Edgar and Sue Ward Sheeran. Marjorie was a graduate of the former St. Aloysius Academy and Mt. Carmel School of Nursing and co-owner of the former Sheeran Drug Company in New Lexington. She was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, J. Edward Hennessey and son Patrick. Her parents, brother Edgar, sisters Helen Addison and Sara and Virginia Sheeran. Marjorie is survived by her daughters Susan (Douglas) Lammers, Kathleen (Robert) Mcfadden, Ellen (Robert) Stacklin, Erin and Molly Hennessey, daughter-in-law Sarah Hennessey and sister-in-law Janet Sheeran; grandchild­ren Sean (Kira) Lammers, Neil (Jaclyn) Lammers. Courtney (Drew) Connor, Megan Mcfadden, Robert Mcfadden, Katie (Joseph) Lucht, Emily (Bruce) Blessinger, Dan, Matthew, Sean, Kevin and Kate Hennessey, Paul and Leah Stacklin; great grandchild­ren Crosby, Wesley, Olivia and Ruby Lammers, Charlie and Mara Connor. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 309 N. Main Street New Lexington Ohio where friends may call 10:00 - 11:00 a.m. prior to the funeral at the church. Burial to follow in New Lexington Cemetery by EGAN-RYAN FUNERAL HOME.
