Kelli L. Banks

Kelli L. Banks, age 49, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 21, 2023. Kelli was born in Columbus, Ohio daughter of Robert and Candi (Colvin) Banks. Kelli was a 1992 graduate of East High School. She has worked in various departments at OSU since 1992. Kelli was very creative, especially with crafts involving mugs, jewelry, pens and wine stoppers. She loved the beach and being around the water, but family was most important to her and she had a gift of making everybody feel like family. Kelli is preceded in death by her father Robert Banks; and daughter Maelee Basham. Kelli will be deeply missed by her loving husband of 17 years Heath Basham; son Alan Basham; mother Candi Banks; siblings Jennifer Banks, Matthew Banks, James Banks and Michael (Jordan) Banks; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Family will receive friends from 4:00-7:00pm on Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST, 1740 Zollinger Road, Columbus, Ohio 43221. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00am on Wednesday, November 29, 2023 at SCHOEDINGER NORTHWEST where family will receive friends 1 hour prior from 10:00-11:00am. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to charity of your choice in Kelli’s name. A message from Kelli’s son Alan about his mom: Kelli Lee Banks/my mother was a smart, loving, and giving mother. A friend to many that will be remembered for her loving and caring personality. Words truly cannot describe how sad I am about her death, and words cannot describe how much I love and miss her. Even though she is not here physically, she is here spiritually.
