Jacqueline Vasbinder
COLUMBUS - Jacqueline “Jacci” Renee Vasbinder, beloved wife, mother, daughter, and friend, passed away on November 22, 2023, at home in Worthington, OH, lovingly surrounded by her family. She was 71 years old.
Born on November 3, 1952, to John and Norma (Polley) Childers in Springfield, Ohio. Jacci attended Whetstone High School and obtained her college degree at Miami Valley Hospital School of Radiology.
Without a doubt, Jacci’s priority in life was her family. She married Michael “Mike” Vasbinder in 1974 on December 15th. They were married for 49 years and had two children, Lindsey and Seth. Her family describes her as a strong, beautiful soul with an incredible sense of humor. Jacci was known for her warm smile, infectious laugh and the ability to be the life of every party.
Jacci was a hard worker, spending her years as a Radiologic Technologist at Mount Carmel Hospital and then at Radiology Incorporated where she retired to raise her family. She loved to dance and was part of Vaud-vilities Productions, as well as being a member of Powell United Methodist Church and the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT).
Jacci is survived by her husband Mike; their daughter Lindsey Vasbinder (husband Tison Bolen); their son Seth Vasbinder; grandchildren Scout Bolen and Charlie Bolen; brothers-in-law Jim (Diane) Vasbinder, JD (Sharon) Vasbinder; nieces and nephews Sara (Clayton) Davis, Laura Vasbinder, Jake Vasbinder, Jordan (Kelly) Vasbinder, Joe (Kari) Vasbinder, Josh (Courtney) Vasbinder, Adam Rogers and Kenny Rogers; cousin Lynn Rogers; friends Steve and Nancy Vargo; and her devoted furry friend, Dakota. She was proceeded in death by her parents John and Norma; in laws Jack and Reny Vasbinder.
Jacci’s family would like to extend their most heartfelt appreciation to her amazing caregivers, Debbie Daoud and Chris Zust.
