Timothy Hughes

Timothy Ryan Hughes, born on February 25th, 1980, in Columbus, Ohio, peacefully passed away at his home on Thursday, April 11th, 2024, at the age of 44. Tim’s unexpected departure has left his family and friends in deep sorrow.

Tim was a graduate at Whetstone High School, where he graduated in 1998. Continuing his pursuit of knowledge, he went on to graduate from The Ohio State University, shaping a path of academic excellence.

Tim leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories, survived by his devoted parents, Charles and Terry Hughes, his brother Greg Hughes, along with his wife Veronica and their children Connor and Logan. He is also mourned by his grandmother, Mary P. Walters, and extended family members Patty and John Conchrain, and Rebecca Kardas.

Tim’s passions were diverse and vibrant. He found immense joy in attending hockey games, cheering on basketball tournaments, and exploring new destinations through travel.

Memorial services honoring Tim’s life will take place from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, at Rutherford-corbin Funeral Homes & Cremations, located at 515 High St, Worthington, OH 43085.

In remembrance of life and love, the family asks that any charitable donations be made by donating to the “Histiocytosis Association” in Tim’s memory, a cause close to his heart through his life long battle.

Tim will be fondly remembered for his kindness, warmth, and the countless lives he touched. His presence will be deeply missed but his spirit will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know him.
