PIANIST ON RISE
At age 8, Yue Chu won his first piano competition; at 10, he was conducting the youth orchestra in his hometown in China. Now studying at the Curtis Institute of Music, the talented young performer plays a recital of works by Beethoven, Schubert, Liszt and Rachmaninov as part of the Baron Hirsch Artists Ascending Series. 7:30 p.m. Sunday at Baron Hirsch Synagogue, 400 S.
