Academy Award com­pletists and of­fice Os­car pool bet­tors, take note: Pro­grams show­cas­ing the Os­car-nom­i­nated shorts in all three cat­e­gories — Doc­u­men­tary, Live Ac­tion and An­i­mated — will take place mul­ti­ple times, in screen­ings hosted by both the On Lo­ca­tion: Mem­phis In­ter­na­tional Film & Mu­sic Fest (at the Stu­dio on the Square) and the Mem­phis Brooks Mu­seum of Art (at the mu­seum). The most eye-pop­ping of th­ese pro­grams typ­i­cally is the “Os­carNom­i­nated Shorts: An­i­mated” pro­gram, which this year fea­tures an in­ter­na­tional ros­ter of stop-mo­tion, com­put­er­ized and tra­di­tion­ally an­i­mated films, in­clud­ing new work from Pixar and car­toon ge­nius Don Hertzfeldt. 6:30 p.m. Sun­day, Stu­dio on the Square, and 2 p.m. Thurs­day, Mem­phis Brooks Mu­seum of Art.
