The Commercial Appeal - Go Memphis
ON THE COVER
vegetables. We tried the grilled broccoli, grilled cabbage, the Memphis Street Corn (corn-on-the-cob seasoned with butter and Trap Fusion’s orange dry rub) and the sweet potato fries. Each was a unique spin on a classic Southern side.
Vegetables change often. They were out of the Henny Greens (turnip greens cooked down with Hennessy cognac) the night we ordered — but that one is on my list to try next time I see it as a daily special.
Trap Fusion has also made a name for itself in the vegan market. Like everything at the restaurant, even the vegan dishes like burgers and vegan “BBQ jack” sandwiches are made from scratch.
Next on my list to try is one of the vegan offerings, the stuffed turkey burger and Jerk Chicken Alfredo Pasta.
Like Gardner said, this is one of those restaurants you can order from several times without getting the same thing twice. I am looking forward to trying more.
Orders can be placed online at trapfusion901.com. My only complaint with the online ordering platform is that
the online menu does not include more detailed descriptions of the offerings; otherwise it was a simple and quick way to place an order.
