Carrot soufflé once-a-year deal

While most folks are singing “Auld Lang Syne,” I’m usually wondering how far into the new year we’ll get before someone requests the Piccadilly Cafeteria carrot souff lé recipe. This year, not far.

Teresa Smith requested not only the carrot dish — which we try to repeat only once a year — but also another favorite, Hummingbir­d Cake. Both are from our files. On to requests:

Ruth Bolden remains hopeful we’ll get Southaven’s Fillin Station Grille’s Mardi Gras pasta recipe.

Catherine G. Martin misses Lulu Grill’s portobello/veggie burger sandwich and would like to duplicate it .
