Victory University signs Taylor Pierce

Victory University Eagles baseball coach John Jarnagin has announced the signing of Taylor Pierce. Pierce was a member of the Southwest Tennessee Community College baseball team, for which he was a pitcher the last two seasons.

Some of the highlights from his two seasons include an 11-4 complete -game win against Northwest Mississippi CC and a pair of shutouts against Rhodes and Bethel JV teams as a freshman.

As a sophomore, Taylor was third on the team with a 4.2 ERA. Pierce pitched in the NJCAA regional tournament in 2011 and 2012.

Taylor, a 2010 graduate of Center Hill High School in Olive Branch, is the son of Cheri and Terry Pierce.

Kenneth Kinney is director of marketing for Victory University.

Taylor Pierce has signed to play baseball for the Victory University Eagles. Joining him for the signing ceremony are his parents, Cheri and Terry Pierce, and his sister, Sarah.
