First job: Clerk at James Crone Pharmacy

Current job: Managing member of Crone & McEvoy, PLC, which focuses on employment law matters including partnership agreements, intellectual property, overtime compensation, and wrongful termination.

Career highlights: Helping clients solve a problem rather than just winning a lawsuit. Having a holistic approach to clients’ unique business needs and applying the law to find optimal resolutions.

Most satisfying career moment: Being named a Fellow of the Memphis Bar Association.

Career advice: Always be prepared. And, treat people as you would want to be treated.

Person I most admire: : Lt. Gov. John S. Wilder Sr.

Hobbies: I’m an avid reader. And I love to spend free time with my family, especially watching my kids play sports.

Last book read: “Capitol Punishment” by Jack Abramoff

Favorite film: “Charlie Wilson's War”

Favorite vacation spot: Any ballpark

Something most people don’t know about me: I was a theatre major my freshman year in college.

Change I would like to see: I would like to see more people take a practical approach to the law. No case should be driven by emotion. Careful analysis and sound problem solving lead to the best possible solutions for all involved.
