One person was shot in an attempted robbery at a Parkway Village apartment complex early Friday morning.
Police responded about 1:15 a.m. to the 4000 block of Tarry Park in Ten Mile Creek Apartments. They found a 33-year-old man who had been shot, and he was taken to the Regional Medical Center at Memphis in critical condition.
Investigators believe the injured man and a woman were walking toward their vehicle when three men approached and tried to rob them.
After a brief struggle, the man was shot.
