Today will mark the opening of the Girl Scout Day Camp on Mud Island, called “Treasure Island” by the girls. Fifty girls will go to the island in motorboats equipped for the day with pioneer cooking utensils, handicraft, trail blazing, map drawing and “nature snooping.” Mrs. Ed Sapinsley, day camp chairman, said the girls will wind up the day with a swim at the DeVoy pool.
