Lakeland seniors 55+ Getaways

Lakeland, in partnership with Collierville, offers overnight trips for local seniors, age 55 and up. They are announcing their upcoming senior getaways:

Oct. 21-26: New York City: The package includes a guided tour of New York City, including a visit to the new National September 11 Memorial & Museum, two Broadway shows, a trip to the Museum of Modern Art, as well as a ferry to the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island.

Nov. 22-23: Nashville: The trip package includes one night at the Gaylord Opryland Resort during “A Country Christmas at Gaylord Opryland.” This getaway also includes Lorrie Morgan’s Enchanted Christmas Dinner & Show, a holiday luncheon cruise aboard the General Jackson, the Radio City Rockettes Christmas Spectacular, and shopping at Opry Mills Mall.

Dec. 1-7: San Antonio, Texas: The “Home of the Alamo” package includes a guided tour of San Antonio, a cruise through the famous River Walk District, a visit to the Alamo, Mission San Jose and LBJ Ranch. Travelers will also tour the Bob Bullock Texas State History Museum in Austin, and a visit to the National Museum of the Pacific War in Fredericksburg.
