Early Bird sign-up eases NWCC entry

- Ron Maxey

Northwest Mississippi Community College is offering Early Bird Admission Days as a way to make registration easier for adults and veterans who are interested in taking courses to further their careers or begin a new career.

Those interested in getting a head start on fall classes can apply, get help with financial aid or sign up for classes between 8 a.m. and 7 p.m. from July 23 through Aug. 6. The registration is at the main campus in Senatobia but is for those planning to attend classes at any NWCC campus or online.

Those participating in the Early Bird program need to bring an official high school transcript or GED, an official college transcript (if they have previously attended another college) and a completed 2012 tax return. Veterans should also bring their Certificate of Eligibility.

The NWCC main campus is at 4975 U.S. 51 N. in Senatobia. For questions about the Early Bird program, contact Sarah Sapp, director of communications, at 662-562-3274 or e-mail ssapp@northwestms.edu.
