Tree Service responds to fallen elm

Howard Klink, 48, a landscapist with Woodland Tree Service, clears debris from an elm tree that had fallen into a driveway during Friday morning’s storm off of Forest Hill-Irene Road in Germantown. “Just a storm came through this morning and blew it over in the neighbor’s driveway,” Klink said. “So they called us just to get the top cut out so their neighbor could get through, and then we’ll come back later on, probably tomorrow or the next day, cut the rest of it down.” After spending time in the sun, Klink said, “You have to pace yourself, though last week was worse.” He said he drinks plenty of water and Gatorade and finds some shade. “I’ve worked outside all my life, so it’s just second nature, I guess.”
