Racing on Saturday at Riverside Speedway

The eighth annual “Rumble on the River,” which was rained out June 1, is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Saturday at Riverside International Speedway at 151 Legion Road in West Memphis.

The event, part of the United Sprint Car Series Outlaw Thunder Tour, is expected to draw as many as 32 winged-sprint-car drivers to the quarter-mile gumboclay oval. Admission is $20.

Elite drivers who are expected to compete include 10-time national champion Terry Gray of Bartlett and defending national champion Tim Crawley of Benton, Ark. USCS Rookie of the Year Morgan Turpen from Oakland and 19-year-old Dalton Davis of Millington are also expected to race.
