Trial set in mayoral election challenge

HATTIESBURG — A jury trial is now set for Dave Ware’s challenge of the June 4 Hattiesburg mayoral election.

The Hattiesburg American reports specially appointed judge William F. Coleman will preside over the case at 10:30 a.m. July 23 at the Forrest County Courthouse.

Additionally, Coleman also set a conference date for 11 a.m. July 8 for both the Ware lawyers and the lawyers of fellow mayoral candidate Nathan Jordan.
